Little Pancakes! Who could resist? They open till late (/while batter lasts) so it’s a perfect place for desserts or supper. They had a whole list of items on their menu and I kind of expected the ingredients to be cooked in with the pancakes. Instead, they serve ingredients separately from their pancakes (which are tiny, but they give you a stack, and they taste nice and fluffy and buttery too.)
Kinda limited seating.
What we ordered:
Going Nutella for You, $8.20
Like what I mentioned before, the pancakes are TINNNYY but you get a stack of about 10 of these things. Great for sharing.
Other interesting flavours that caught my eye:
- Ape about Bananas (warm caramelized banananas drizzeld over pancakes, served with ice cream) $7.50
- Gimme S’more Oreos (pancakes served with crushed digestive cookies, toasted marshmallows and chocolate ice cream) $8.20
They have savoury pancakes too!
- Big Fan of All Day Breakfast ($10.90) – comes with a set of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, potato salad and greens
- Ham and cheese / sausage and cheese – pancakes served with those, plus potato salads and greens ($8.50)
And some interesting local twists on things, like kaya and butter, red bean and green tea ice cream… even chendol, with gula melaka syrup.
WISH I COULD TRY THEM ALL.
Oh I also had an interesting drink called lychee yoghurt love or something like that – it’s like real lychee + yakult and it comes in a mason jar
Every serving of pancakes comes with butter and maple syrup on the side.
I won’t say the pancakes are super amazeballs but it’s a creative new concept and I like the twist. I’m sure kids will love this place.
